     RED ROPE THEATRE COMPANY LTD  

Red Rope Theatre Company was formed in 2012 by Matt Grinter and Actor/Producer Rebecca Robson. They were later joined in 2013 by Lois Grinter, and the company have to date had 12 successful productions including their 5 sell-out gothic horror inspired productions at Arnos Vale Cemetery.

 

Red Rope is dedicated to bringing high quality performances to a wider non-conventional theatre going audience. They passionately believe that theatre is an experience that enriches and educates and should be accessible to as many people as possible.

 

As a writer, Matt has adapted three cult novels for the stage for Red Rope Theatre: Frankenstein, Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and A Christmas Carol.

He has also written two tales for their new writing, Story Night productions at Ashton Court Mansion.

As a director for Red Rope, Matt has directed: Look Back in Anger by John Osbourne, A Taste of Honey by Shelagh Delaney, Two Way Mirror by Arthur Miller, Dracula by Liz Lochhead, and the novel Turn of the Screw by Henry James, adapted for stage by Rebecca Robson for Red Rope Theatre.
